Week Two | Jacobson to Little Falls : The next 150 miles
1pm, Thursday, July 23, 2020
Jacobson, Palisade, Long Lake, Aitkin, Crosby, Brainerd, Little Falls
LANDSCAPE | From Forest to Farm
A country road looks different in a forest as opposed to alongside a field. Step by step, mile by mile, sweat drops accumulating, the road passed underfoot and we were met with a welcome at the end.
COMMUNITY | Civic Organizations
United in a shared commitment, civic organizations turn social connections into positive change for their communities.
VOICE | Liz Burns
Cuyuna-area mountain bike enthusiast and committed snow shoer. Voice originally heard on the afternoon of July 21, 2019 at the Milford Mine Lake Memorial in Crosby, MN.

We are learning that these “Zoom Reunions” are a great opportunity for anyone a little cooped up and isolated during this time of distancing to take a trip down the Mississippi River and meet someone new—or in the case of Week Two, some many new people, landscapes, communities, and voices.
We had a great turn out with Kent Lorentzen representing Jacobson, MN, Michael Audette representing Palisade, MN, Pam Brand (and a brief sighting of Courtney Dowell) representing Long Lake Conservation Center as well as Aitkin, MN, Abby Smith and Jill Mattson representing Crosby, Brielle Bredsten representing Cuyuna, MN, Deb Boelz representing Little Falls, MN, and Hank Danos from all the way in LaFourche Parish, LA!
We hope they will join us again in future weeks, and that you will join us as well. Check out the registration page for more info and the links to sign up.
